Essay

The object of study - physical processes in high-current switching devices. The aim of study - to increase efficiency of high- explosive electrical contacts by improving the design of the mechanism of the contactor tap changer of the transformer windings. Methods - numerical methods for solving the inverse heat conduction problem, least squares, voltmeter-ammeter, experimental. Theoretical and practical results - improved design of the Tap-Changer, implemented a program of temperature control of contacts' surfaces. Scientific novelty - first substantiated and experimentally confirmed the possibility of reducing the contact resistance of discontinuous contacts by applying an additional shear force; proposed analytical relations, the method of estimation of the transition resistance and a mathematical model for calculating the heating process contact surfaces. The degree of implementation: results implemented in PJSC " ZTR " (Zaporozhye) . Scope of use- design and improving the constructions of high-current electrical apparatus.
