Essay

In the thesis on the basis of a complex of sources and historical scientific works the social and economic system of the Inca state of the imperial period is investigated. The reasons and preconditions which led to fast inca expansion in XV-XVI centuries, namely, intensive development of the agriculture in a valley of Cuzco and high density of the population in it, are established. Approximately for hundred years it had been possible to form the biggest pre-Colombian state in the sizes. It is found out that for the sake of reinforcement of substantiations of the gains the incas led by governor Pachakutiq Inca Yupanqui resorted to reforms in sphere of a cult and a temple economy, and have deduced on a proscenium of syncretic Supreme god Wiracocha, and so-called "Sun temples" united in cults of numerous gods of different people, clans and communities.
