Essay

The results of research of the systematic composition of Upper Cretaceous of cephalopods covering group of ammonites, nautiloids and belemnites from Volyn-Podillya are revealed in the thesis. Their guiding importance in resolving stratification and correlation for Upper Cretaceous has been shown. There are 59 cephalopods species described monographically. They belong to 18 families and 33 genera. Of them, 10 species of nautiliods, 43 - ammonites and 6 - belemnites.Twenty species were described monographically from Volyn-Podillya for the first time. Four species were recorded in the region for the first time.
