The dissertation is dedicated to the investigation of biochemical mechanisms of nonalkaloid Galega officinalis extract influence on the structural and functional state of the rats peripheral blood cells under experimental diabetes mellitus type 1. Administration of Galega officinalis extract at a dose of 0.6 g per 1 kg of animal per os reveals the marked hypoglycemic effect under the diabetes mellitus condition, corrective influence on the erythron indicators and leukocyte differential count, contributes to the mobilization of antioxidant and antiradical protection mechanisms.
