Essay

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of thermal protection disc windings with wide horizontal channels less than 3 mm in transformers with natural circulation cooling of viscous fluid. Two- and three-dimensional numerical model of the disk winding power transformer, which provided a detailed temperature field, velocity and pressure of solutions, as well as the heat transfer coefficients in the studied heat transfer surfaces were developed. The dependence of the pressure in a horizontal channel from the flow rate of oil at the entrance to the channel was obtained.
