Object of study: electrochemical formation of oxide films on metals . Objective of study: to establish kinetic principles of electroforming of oxide films on tin SnOx, SnOx(TiOy) and clarify the mechanism of anodic reactions in a wide range of anodic potentials. Methods of study: voltammetry with linear potential sweep and cyclic voltammetry, chronopotentiometry , chronoamperometry , spectrophotometry, coulometry , potentiometric titration, gravimetry , scanning electron microscopy , X-ray analysis, volumetry , gas-liquid chromatography, permanganatometry . The reaction scheme of anodic processes on tin in alkaline electrolytes is specified. The possibility of electrochemical formation of SnOx(TiOy) film on the surface of tin in two ways is established. It is found out that the films formed electrochemically on the composite material Sn(TiOz) are capable of self refresh. It is shown that protective, electro- and photocatalytic properties of the formed films are high. The results of the research are to be implemented. Scope: metal passivation, oxide materials obtaining.
