Essay

This thesis is devoted to the development of interpretive algorithms of the petrophysical characteristics determining of the complicated structure of reservoir rocks and the parameters of the rocks inhomogeneity for the purpose of detection of hydrocarbons promising targets. This paper suggests a customized petrophysical models of complicated thin-clastic and carbonate reservoir rocks. The methodology of calculation of petrophysical properties and parameters of the heterogeneity of rocks, which are implemented in the created interpretive expert system based on shell programming environment, an intelligent system - GURU, has been described. The basic advantages of the developed methods of interpretation has been shown and the prospective hydrocarbons objects was allocated based on the results of these studies.
