Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the investigation of semiconductor compounds and their solid solutions (ZnTe, CdTe, HgTe, In2Se3, Bi2Te2,7Se0,3(SbI3), Cd1-xMnxTe, Hg1-xMnxTe, et al.) With different types of chemical bonds, which belong to the cubic and lower syngony. A comprehensive study of structural perfection and phase composition, lattice periods, velocity of distribution of ultrasonic waves, the elastic modules and their dependence on temperature and concentration of alloying elements, the anisotropy of thermal expansion, etc. was performed for these materials. The estimation of the influence of inharmoniousness of atoms thermal vibrations on the anisotropy of the elastic properties, chemical bond and the stability of crystal lattices was performed based on the analysis and interpretation of the results.
