Essay

The phenomenological equation of state of strongly interacting matter and the mechanism of the QCD critical endpoint generation are developed within the quark-gluon bags with surface tension model. The scheme to determine the bags surface tension coefficient and the QCD critical temperature from the lattice QCD data is proposed. The critical exponents of the present model are found. It is demonstrated that the non-Fisher universality classes can exist. The generalized scaling laws valid for these universality classes are established. Solutions of the statistical multifragmentation model in a finite volume are generalized for the case of realistic equation of state of nuclear liquid.
