Essay

The thesis deals with increase of wear resistance in tribosystems of hydraulic machines during the use of phytogenic hydraulic fluids and development of practical recommendations as to their application with the purpose of resource increase and ecological compatibility of operation. The interdependence between tribotechnical features of direct and reverse tribosystems during the use of phytogenic hydraulic fluids (sunflower or rape seeds) has been revealed. The simulation criterion equations, as well as scale factors for model-to-life transition for parameters which are a part of simulation criterion equations have been developed. The application of phytogenic hydraulic fluids causes has been found to decrease in wear rate, friction force and the term of tribosystem burn-in due to high oleic acid content. By means of tribochemical investigations and analysis of friction surfaces it has been established that visible reduction of cold-hardening depth and increase in surface microhardness took place in reverse tribosystems according to the factors of geometry and materials. The disposition of hydraulic fluids on the base of sunflower and rape seed oils to wear-free transfer, in particular copper layer restoration on the steel and cast iron triboelements in the form of protective (servovite) film, has been revealed.
