Essay

The thesis reveals the study of biochemical parameters in the blood and lochia at different levels in their macro and micronutrients also development of the method for diagnostic of cows' reproductive system functionality in postnatal period. The content of lipid peroxidation output, protein metabolism, activity of antioxidant enzymes, sialic acids, circulating immune complexes in cows' lochia have been studied for the first time and the physiological standards have been suggested. The dependence of the said parameters on macro-and micronutrients in the body has been defined. It has also been established that the reduced levels of K, Ca, Zn and Mn caused increase of uric acid, diene conjugates, malonic dialdehyde, circulating immune complexes; and decrease of catalase activity, ceruloplasmin content and sialic acids in cows' lochia that causes complications after calving. The expediency of industrial implementation of the method for diagnostic of cows' reproductive system by definition of the content of sialic acid and catalase activity in cows' lochia has been grounded.
