Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the study of the biological peculiarities of the Celtis genus species (C. caucasica, C. crassifolia, C. occidentalis) in conditions of Right-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. The season rhythms of development of the plants are considered. The peculiarities of the ontomorphogenesis of the studied species have been considered. The comparison of the results of seed and vegetative reproduction confirmed the advantage of the seed reproduction of the Celtis plants and also the perceptiveness of their reproduction in culture in vitro.
