Essay

The thesis is dedicated to development of fire protective coatings based on oxide-filled compounds of polymethylphenylsiloxanes to enhance fire resistance of concrete structures. Rational selection of coating components is grounded, which helps to ensure high thermal shielding properties and enables protection of concrete structures from the effects of heat radiation and open flame, prevents cracking and ensures reliable operation for a long time. The regularities of phase and structure formation processes of fire protective coatings when heated are determined.
