Essay

In the thesis there is solved a current scientific problem of mathematical modeling of heat-mass transfer processes and elastic-viscous-plastic deformation taking into account the mechanics and sorption creep in hygroscopic capillary-porous materials with variable anisotropic heat and mechanics characteristics. The finite elements method and the applied software have been developed for the research of the heat-mass transfer processes and the two-dimensional intense-deforming state during the timber drying process. There has been suggested a method of deformation measurement and control in capillary-porous materials during the drying process.
