The dissertation is devoted to the study of biological, morphological, ontogenetic, biochemical peculiarity of species of the genus Nepeta L. in condition of the Northern Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Based on the biological and morphological peculiarities and economic valuable signs are assessed the level of introduction success and endurance plants, and are determined directions of the use; created a cultivar of N. sibirica Charoita.
