Essay

The problem of developing simple, reliable, with high technical-economic performance low-speed synchronous generators with permanent magnets (SGPM) for wind electric plants was solved. A mathematical model of transient modes of operation of synchronous generators in the gearless windelectric plants was developed. Practical recommendations on methodology of engineering calculation of parameters and characteristics of lowspeed synchronous generators for choosing optimal geometric and electro magnetic parameters were offered.
