Essay

This thesis defines, theoretically justifies and gives a new comprehensive solution of the problem related to the increase in the beet slicer wear-resistance by developing engineering and geometric methods of the optimization of slicers' parameters and strengthening their slicing section. Coating wear-resistance studies proved the efficiency of developed technology. The results of industrial approbation of proposed technology and sharpening geometry of a cutting section of slicers have been given and economic effect yielded from its introduction has been estimated.
