Essay

The thesis presents the results of investigations of dogs under transmissible venereal sarcoma. The clinical signs of tumour at spontaneous and experimental infection are detected. The breed, age differences and sexual peculiarities of manifestations of transmissible venereal sarcoma in dogs are studied. The significant decrease of the quantity of erythrocytes, content of haemoglobin, increase of leucocytes and eosinophils in blood are established. Decreasing of Т-helper and increasing of T-suppressor number, decrease of the immunoregulatory index, increasing the concentration of immunoglobulin (Ig) M and G have been detected. The decrease of the total protein, total and conjugated bilirubin and increase of activity of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase in the serum is confirmed. The comparative analysis of the results of clinical, morphological, immunological and biochemical researches blood and tissues of dogs at spontaneous infection of transmissible venereal sarcoma and of puppies at experimental subcutaneous injection of cellular suspension of tumour showed the changes such as at spontaneous transmissible venereal sarcoma of dogs. The results of the histological, cytological and immunohistochemical investigations of the structural features of transmissible venereal sarcoma are studied. It was detected the belonging of the tumor to the low-differentiated circular-cellular sarcomas of alveolar type by the histological characteristics. The tumor’s cells are characterized by the marker such as vimentin. These cells also had positive local reaction on myogenin and cytokeratyn.
