Essay

The object - to identify the peculiarities of cultural environment development of the country's regions in the context of market relations; the goal - to improve the theoretical and methodological principles of formation and functioning of the cultural environment in Ukraine under market conditions, and justification of perspectives of its development, with due consideration of regional features; the methods - abstract-logical, system structured, economic and mathematical simulation, projection, economic and statistical analysis, clustering, ranking and novelty - there has been articulated the essence of the concept "cultural environment" as a system of economic relations regarding creation of a cultural product, collection, storage, use and dissemination of information about material and spiritual cultural values; the integrated approach to the estimation of cultural environment development of the region, which is based on the mathematical model for determination of its infrastructure development level and socio-cultural activity of population, allowing to determine regional specifics of the culture environment development in Ukraine, based on obtained integral estimates; the priority areas of the cultural environment at the national and regional levels under market conditions to ensure its progressive dynamics and promote further socio-economic development of the country and its regions; the results - methodological framework for analysis and evaluation of cultural environment development that provides for the emphasizing of new criteria for its development: social and cultural activity of population; innovation and investment attraction; the industry - development of productive forces and regional economy.
