The paper reveals major aesthetic parameters of scientific knowledge and its historical conceptualization, explicates the cognitive and methodological potency concept of beauty in science; analyzes conditions of formation, subjects and aesthetics of science, discovers the relationship between the classical and non-classical stages of development and changes in types of scientific rationality, characterizes post-non-classical semantic transfomation of aesthetics of science, and finds that they correlate with the characteristics of post-modern culture.
