The theoretic generalization is carried out and the scientific task of development and scientific and methodological substantiation of directions of increase of investment competitiveness of the region on the basis of ensuring the optimal and balanced functioning is solved in dissertation; the main indicators of investment activity in the regions of Ukraine are analyzed, the integrated rating of the strategic competitiveness of the regions of Ukraine by the proposed method of integral is formed, the methodological approach to the estimation of investment competitiveness of administrative and territorial units of the region is developed, the districts of Vinnytsya region on the level of investment incentives and restrictions are differentiated; the feasibility of using the program-target approach to the formation and increase of the level of investment competitiveness of the region is proved and the model of "the tree of objectives" of formation of the investment competitiveness of the region is proposed, and the directions and the ways to achieve them in Vinnytsya region are specified.
