Korkh V. Development of mechanisms of social perception in adolescence and youth age

The dissertation is devoted to the study of development of the mechanisms of social perception in adolescence and youth age. In the dissertation the author defined social perception as a process of perception, understanding and appreciation of human social objects (self, other people, social groups and communities) that allows you to securely determine the success and prospects of joint and coherent interaction. The process of social perception by means of mechanisms which determine the main empathy, identification, social reflection. In the work there are concretized general socio-psychological characteristics of the mechanisms of social perception in adolescence and youth age: underdevelopment empathy and identification skills, not formed an emotional perception of partner interaction, reduced capacity for social reflection, which affects the process of interpersonal perception and cognition in the specified age.
