Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of destructive and adaptive processes in the microcirculatory and tissue of the intracranial segment of the optic nerve. The material is represented by serial microslide sections for 73 cases of autoptic tissue pieces of the intracranial part of the optic nerve, hiasma, the optic tract. The histological, histochemical, immunohistochemical and morphometric methods of investigation have been used. This thesis bases a new theoretical foundation and decision of actual problem for morphological changes in intracranial division of the optic nerve with arterial hypertension and diabetes melitus, as well as in the age aspect. Due to the method proposed PAS-staining + amidochorny set localization of astro- and oligodendrocytes in the microvasculary blood sistem of the optic nerve. Morphometric methods degree reduction of blood filling in different parts of the optic nerve in cases of arterial hypertension and diabetes melitus, as well as in the age aspect.
