This research focuses on the political, economic and cultural cooperation between Ukraine and the Nordic countries during the first 20 years of independence. In the dissertation a comprehensive analysis of the political, economic and cultural cooperation with Ukraine Nordic countries in 1991-2011 years. Defined level of Ukraine's cooperation with the Scandinavian countries in 1991-2011 years in the political, economic and cultural spheres. On dissertation research analyzed quality of cooperation in these areas. Designated vectors cooperation in political, economic and cultural spheres Ukraine and Scandinavian partners. The thesis researches the key challenges, key issues and problems of cooperation Ukraine and Scandinavian partners in 1991-2011, respectively. Directions dissertation research has not found adequate coverage of domestic and foreign literature.
