Essay

Research object: control process of large scintillation single-crystals growth from the melt. Research aim: increase the functional efficiency of decision support system as part of automated control systems of technological processes of large scintillation single-crystals growth from the melt under a priori uncertainty caused by influence of uncontrollable disturbances to technological process. Research methods: systems analysis, information-extreme intelligent technology, statistical analysis, information theory, object-oriented design. Theoretical and practical results: solved scientific and practical problems of analysis and synthesis self-learning decision support systems for the automation of large scintillation single-crystals growth from the melt under a priori uncertainty. Novelty: The information-extreme method of analysis and synthesis self-learning decision support system for automation of a large scintillation single-crystals growth, information-extreme methods of machine learning with hierarchical, nested hyper-spherical and multimodal hyper-ellipsoidal decision rules, and method prediction time moment of relearning decision support system are developed. The degree of implementation: Institute for Scintillation Materials National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Sumy State University. Scope of application: intelligent control systems for automation of functional materials production.
