Moizhes V. The History of Ceramic Production in Upper Tisza Region (XII B.C. - IV A.D.)

The scientific thesis is devoted to the research of ceramic production of Upper Tisza region during the period of formation and existence of Northern Thracian ethnos. The role of pottery in social and economic life of the population has been demonstrated. The main characteristics of utensils production during the different stages of Northern Thracian residence in the region have been defined. The ethnic specificity has been characterized and the preservation of traditions in ceramic production has been defined based on the analysis of the pottery. Correspondently, the ethnic affinity of the tribes of Upper Tisza region during XII/X - IV centuries B.C. has been proven.
