Vorobyovа N. Implementation of the government policy provided by the Warsaw Governor-General I.V.Gourko in the Kingdom of Poland (1883–1894)

The object of the research – national-state policy of the Russian empire in second half of ХІХ century. The dissertation purpose: on the basis of complex research to define a role of the Warsaw Governor-General I.V.Gourko in realization of national-state interests of the Russian empire in the Kingdom of Poland. The methods: comparative analysis, historical-genetic, historical-system, statistical. Scientific novelty: on the basis of wide circle of sources, entered into a scientific use, the problem of realization of government policy of the Russian empire in the Kingdom of Poland in concrete historical period became the subject of special research; in this research the historical experience of regional governmental policy of the Russian state is generalized, the principles of relation of the central administration representative with local regional elites are established, the role of the Warsaw Governor-General I.V.Gourko in implementation of the government policy in economic and cultural development of the Kingdom of Poland is determined. Practical value of research: the materials of the dissertation can be used in preparation of courses on a history of the Russian empire of the end of ХІХ century, on a regional history, special courses for higher educational institutions and in study of local-lore.
