The present research studies one of the most topical issues of philosophical thought - problem of philosophical and methodological analysis of the consciousness ontological status.The author suggests viewing the consciousness as unity of actual sensualism and potential meanings. Sensualism and meanings are regarded as ontological structures of consciousness that possess attributes of specific, individual and constitutive entity.
