Theoretical positions, methodological approach, scientific and practical recommendations of providing the effective functioning of the regional consumer market have been developed and proved in the thesis; the basic categories of the regional market have been defined; author's understanding of logistic approach in regulating the functioning and development of the regional consumer market has been given; theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the regional consumer market and to evaluate the effectiveness of the regional consumer market on the basis of the main economic indicators have been improved; the range of requirements to the functioning of the logistic systems of the state has been defined; complex development analyses of the regional consumer market of Ukraine have been carried out; necessity of state regulation of the regional consumer market has been proved; priority development directions of a regional distribution system in the sphere of consumption and functioning improvement content of the regional consumer market has been defined; the algorithm of creating logistics functioning concept and development of the regional consumer market has been created and effectiveness of its implementation has been proved.
