Essay

The problems of elastic deformation of the friction assembly elements are researched. The methods and computational algorithms for numerical investigation of the spatial nonlinear deformation and durability of friction units elements, allowing to solve the problems in conditions of dynamic change of the geometrical properties of the friction surfaces with the evolution of loading process, are developed. The computational algorithms to solve fundamentally new types of problems of elastic deformation of the friction assembly elements are created. The problems of elastic deformation of the bearing surfaces and rough layers illustrating the capabilities of the developed methods are solved.
