Essay

The thesis is devoted to investigation of properties of abstract systems with inputs and outputs as partial functions on the real time domain on the basis of the composition-nominative approach. In the work systems of this kind are called blocks. They can be considered as high-level models of cyber-physical systems, real-time information processing systems and other similar systems. The following main properties of blocks are studied in the work: causality, representation in the form of a dynamical system, the existence of total input-output pairs, the existence of a total output for a given total input.
