Bilokon I. Building and research of cluster computing systems based on virtualization technology

In the thesis computing clusters' hardware resources rational utilization method via its' downtime reduction using general-purpose dynamically reconfigurable cluster computing system with virtual machine (VM) nodes was created. Cluster based on Microsoft Windows HPC with VM nodes on Microsoft Hyper-V platform implementation and its configurations investigation method was developed. Computing resources load optimization problem was formulated and the approach to solve the problem via optimal configurations search was suggested. To solve the problem a genetic algorithm was suggested and its parameters and genetic operations implementation details were determined.
