Sosnovska S. Carex pauciflora Lightf. and C. dioica L. (Cyperaceae) in Ukraine: chorology, coenology, population structure and conservation

The study of C. pauciflora and C. dioica in Ukraine is conducted. The patterns of their distribution are revealed, and their locations are mapped. The analysis of ecological and phytocoenotic peculiarities of the species is per-formed. The features of their ontogeny and reproductive biology are investigated. The study of variability of morphometric parameters of vegetative and generative organs of plants at intra- and interpopulation levels is conducted.The observation of 16 populations of the species was carried out; the features of their spatial, age, sexual and vitality structure are studied. A sozological status of C. pauciflora and C. dioica is clarified and the practical recommendations as to their conservation are substantiated.
