Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of morpho-biological features of Iris hybrida hort. varieties in order to select promising ornamental plants for their introduction into the forest-steppe of Ukraine. As a result of the complex evaluation of 83 iris varieties, 19 varieties were selected for use in landscaping and 42 varieties were found to be promising in the selection process for the forest-steppe region of Ukraine.
