The dissertation investigates the social perception in ethnolinguistic communities interaction, psychological content and features of action social-psychological mechanisms of forming "own - stranger" images as a basis of inter-ethnic cooperation. Proved that optimization of these mechanisms leads asertivness in interethnic relations, understanding differences between people, ability to overcome discrimination in inter-ethnic relations.
