Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the surface layers of solids modified by radiation-induced nanoscale inclusion. The paper developed a model describing changes of the solids surface layer properties like absorption, amorphous , conductivity, ability to pass through a liquid or gas itself , generation and relaxation of internal mechanical stresses , synthesis and modification of nanoparticles embedded in material as a result of the rapid growth of the swift heavy ions(SHI)irradiation dose under different conditions of their interaction with the material.
