Kozlov V. Formation of competitiveness on the basis of improvement using of transport capacity

The object of study: the processes of socio-economical development of the region. The aim of study: the development and grounding of theoretical and methodological positions; the development of practical recommendations aimed onto the increase of competitiveness of the region in the system of ways and methods to activate the use of transport capacity. Methods of study: systematization; theoretical generalization; comparative analysis; grouping; economic-statistical method; induction and deduction. The practical significance of results lies in the development of methodological provisions from the scientific principles and management technologies as for the increase of competitiveness of the region through the transport capacity inclusion. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the key provisions of strategy for the development of the region through the transport capacity inclusion were suggested. Were implemented: the current state and problems of the transport capacity in Donetsk region; methodological approaches to systemization and identification of key performance factors which have the biggest influence on the market characteristics of transport capacity taking into account and defining the criteria of their state; methodological principles of assessment of transport capacity and interacting factors system that affect the selection of transportation type and in the process of implementation form the key parameters of the regional demand. Further development have got: theoretical principles of the transport capacity definition as a key segment of economic potential.
