Essay

The object of study: the processes of socio-economical development of the region under current conditions. The aim of study: the development of theoretical and methodological grounds of socio-economic development of the region in terms of transformation of economic relationships by summarizing and generalizing of scientific approaches and implementation of results of applied research in the sphere of regional management. Methods of study: method of logical generalization; systematic and analytical method; analysis and synthesis; factor analysis; statistical analysis; graphic methods. The practical significance of results lies in the chance to use the scientifically grounded and proven recommendations as for the socio-economical development of the region given in the present thesis work basing on the regional management implementation. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the management structure of the socio-economical development of the region based on the regional management implementation was worked out. Were implemented: the methodical approach to assessment of managerial efficiency of socio-economical development; the identification of characteristics of functioning of the system of socio-economic development in the region. Further development have got: identification of potential opportunities for the socio-economic development of the region; the conceptual approach to the formation of strategy of the socio-economic development of the region in terms of provision of quality management environment in the region; generalization of the key principles of sustainable socio-economic development of the region.
