Nechytailo U. Foreign capital in forming the investment potential of the region

The thesis is devoted to theoretical, methodological and practical provisions aimed at optimizing the formulation and implementation of the investment potential of the region by enhancing foreign capital in priority economic activities of the area. The basic concepts and notions of investment, theoretical approaches to determining the nature and structure of the investment potential of the region are being defined in an integrated manner, the approaches were formulated to study trends of activation of foreign capital in shaping and implementation of the investment potential of the region. Eight priority kinds of activities in the region have been selected based on the results of studying aggregate and significant indicators of investment (2001 to 2012). Methodical approaches to the study of areas of intensification of foreign capital in the implementation of the investment potential of the region are worked out, based on the definition of two types of indicators by type of activity that characterize the investment potential of the region and its components, namely such indicators as investment resources and conditions of use. The organizational models of the invest or's behavior regarding investments by sector in increasing of the volume of sales, increased employment, wages, investment flows in general are worked out in the thesis. As a result of this modeling the necessary recommendations were made as to enhancing the inflow of foreign investment in the region in the light of the specific stimuli, general regional and macro incentives.
