Theoretical-methodical bases are grounded and practical approaches to regulation of urbanization processes are developed at regional level; theoretical subsoil of transformation of urbanization processes in a region and maintenance of regulation are studied on the basis of analysis of literary and other sources, concept-terminology and research method are grounded; the features of adjusting of development of cities of region and, on the whole, city lifestyle are analyzed; the innovative aspects of transformation of urbanization processes in a region are studied and concept of urbocluster is grounded; conception of perspective development of urbanization processes in a region is grounded; the specific of the use of planned prognosis document for the improvement of regulation of urbanization processes in a region is analyzed; measures on optimization of regulation of urbanization processes in a region and their use in a regional policy are grounded.
