Hnedina K. Formation of the strategy of development of municipal transport system of the medium cities in the conditions of the accelerated urbanization

Theoretical and methodical bases are proved and practical recommendations are offered concerning the formation of strategy of development of municipal transport system of the medium cities in the conditions of the accelerated urbanization in the dissertation work; the essence, structure and properties of city passenger transport are characterized; factors and the principles of its formation, functioning and development are defined and systematized; methodical approach to an assessment of efficiency of functioning of city passenger transport is offered, which allows to estimate on the basis of system of key indicators economic, social and ecologic efficiency; the organizational and economic mechanism of management of strategic development of municipal transport system of the medium-sized cities, which is directed on increase of efficiency of its functioning, is worked out; the choice of alternative is substantiated and the algorithm of formation of strategy of development of city passenger transport is proposed; the main strategic directions of the development of the municipal transport system of medium-sized cities in conditions of accelerated urbanization are defined.
