Sarkisyan L. Mechanism of regional sustainable ecological-economic development regulation

The thesis is devoted to the consideration of theoretical foundations, scientific-methodical and practical approaches to the formation mechanism of regional sustainable ecological-economic development regulation, which is oriented on improving environmental and economic relations. The concepts "sustainable ecological-economic development of a region", "mechanism of regional sustainable ecological-economic development regulation" are defined in the research. The classification of regulatory instruments aimed at advancing the balance of natural and economic potentials improved. An improved methodical approach to evaluating environmentally adjusted gross regional product is proposed. The regions were divided into groups based on rankings of ecological and economic indicators for the purpose of economic-mathematical modelling and forming scenario forecasts. The mechanism of regional sustainable ecological-economic development regulation is defined. It is based on the use of instruments depending on the type of regional development. It is proved that implementing the proposed offers on the example of Dnypropetrovs'k region will allow to improve the mechanism of sustainable development regulation on ecological-safe basis.
