Olinichenko I. Estimation of providing of economic security of region (on the example of the Dnepropetrovsk area)

Dissertation is devoted to the grounding of theoretical positions and development of practical recommendations in relation to the estimation of providing of economic security of the region. The existing approaches to the definition of the "region" and the content-analysis of determinations of economic security are conducted. The classification signs of indexes of economic security are distinguished and their list is complemented by a feature "according to the sphere of socio-economic development". Composition of functions of providing of economic security is improved with the selection of functions according to the productive, innovative, ecological, investment, external economic, social and consumer orientation of providing of economic security. The methodical approach to the estimation of economic security providing of region which includes its estimation according to functions and programs in the cut of spheres of socio-economic development is offered. The methods of estimation of economic security which combine statistical and grade estimation method are improved. They allow to found a basis for the development of measure to ensure economic security. The procedure for the estimation of economic security, improving information and analytical support for economic security is proposed. Coefficients of economic security importance according to socio-economic development through their impact on the competitiveness of the region are identified. The modelling of the economic security of the region, which formalizes the relationship between the partial indicators of economic security according to socio-economic development and the coefficients of the functions of its software and programs and allows to generate alternative solutions to achieve the target level of economic security in the region is realized. The use of diagnostic and regulator functions allows to warn the origin of threats of economic security of the region, localize and remove their destabilizing influence on the spheres of socio-economic development by development of measures of protective or preventive character.
