Rozgon I. Formation mechanism for activization of investment activity of the region

The object of research is the process of the competitiveness increase in regions of Ukraine. The purpose of research is theoretical justification and development of methodological recommendations on the assessment and diagnostics of Ukrainian regions competitiveness and formation of increase stimulation mechanism. Methods of research are theoretical generalization; system analysis; logical framework approach; content analysis; cluster analysis; discrete mathematical models; expert evaluation; program-target approach. Methodological approach to the estimation of regions competitiveness that takes into account the potential development of the region and the extent of its use; methodical provision of comprehensive structural diagnostics of regional competitiveness that allows to estimate the integral power of the competitiveness pillars influence at the regional system; mechanism for stimulating competitiveness of Ukrainian regions that takes into account the system of criteria of the state support efficiency in various areas are received further development. Improved: Essence of the concept "region competitiveness" as the ability to ensure sustainable socio-economic development, tlevel and quality of the population life on the basis of technological leadership for advanced development of new resource potential and its effective implementation at the global and domestic markets through sustainable competitive advantage and core competencies; methodical approach to the selection, development and implementation of target complex programs of the competitiveness increase in regions that involves the selection of priority species on certain criteria. Research results are used in the activity of Main Department of Economy of Kharkiv Regional State Administration (certificate № 07-09/3484 from 26.12.2011) and East-Ukrainian Branch of International Solomon University (certificate № 120/2 - 09/12 from 18.09.2012)
