Derevianska G. The urban flora of the agglomeration Donetsk-Makііvka

The thesis is devoted to the research of urban flora of Donetsk-Makііvka agglomeration, situated in the south-east of Ukraine. Its species composition, which comprises 897 species of vascular plants in 442 genera and 101 families, has been determined. According to the indices of systematic, geographical, biomorphological and ecological analyses, the urban flora of the agglomeration is similar to the regional flora, though it reveals significant features of human transformation. The synanthropic flora of the agglomeration, which comprises 465 species of plants (212 native and 253 alien species), has been distinguished and analyzed. Anthropological tolerance of species of the researched flora has been analyzed, its botanical value and floroecotopological differentiation of the agglomeration territory have been studied. The species composition of ornamental species of the natural regional flora, spontaneously involved in greening of the urban environment, has been determined. The research can be used to develop measures to improve the state of the urban environment.
