Theoretical and methodological statements and practical recommendations on food supply for the sustainable development in the region have been developed and proved in the thesis; the scientific approaches how to define the essence of food providing for sustainable regional development have been systematized; the factors of sustainable development of agro-and-food complex of the region have been defined; the methodical approach to the integral assessment of the functioning sustainability of the food complex in the region worked out; the comparative analysis of food providing for sustainable development at the macro and meso-economic levels has been carried out; the level of steady functioning of food complex in Vinnitsa region has been estimated; the forecast of the necessary food providing for the sustainable development in the region for the medium term has been presented; the priority directions of regional policy of sustainable development have been grounded; the mechanism of state regulation of the development of food complex in the region and its sustainability has been improved; the modeling processes for food providing of sustainable regional development have been carried out.
