The concepts of insurance market, regional insurance market were analyzed by identifying key factors and patterns of regional insurance market in Ukraine; the elements of the regional insurance market were generalized; the structure of the regional insurance market was specified; potential strength and limitations of statistical and information analysis was summarized to ensure management and development of the regional insurance market; the systematic analysis of the current situation in the national and regional insurance market in Ukraine was given to determine the prospects and trends in its development and improve the insurance market diversification; the system of insurance relationships and realized potential was reviewed and analyzed; foreign practice of using self-regulation in the insurance was analyzed; the model of insurance market regulation with self-regulatory organization was developed; recommendations on the introduction of self-regulation elements into the insurance market of Ukraine were provided.
