Proskurkina V. Regional cluster policy of development of Ukrainian pipe and tube industry

In the course of dissertation studies, features of regional-branch and macroeconomic role of Ukrainian pipe and tube industry and its transformation trends were investigated. Based on the analysis of theoretical basis of cluster forms of organization of innovational development of dominant industrial branches and growth of their international competitiveness, conceptual and methodological principles of the regional policy of development of clusters of Ukrainian pipe and tube industry were proposed. Identification of a powerful national cluster was realized thru elucidation of prospects of strengthening of the pipe and tube industry at domestic and international markets and assessment of its tendency to clustering which was made on the basis of indicators of spatial concentration, localization and productivity in this branch. Fundamental cluster structure and territorial linkage of scientific-production nucleus of the cluster have been substantiated. The work established an organizational сomponent of formation of the pipe and tube industry cluster and revealed a strategic guideline of its development in the innovation-marketing "market pull". Based on the principles of the state - private business partnership mechanism of Ukrtrubtrans cluster development management has been worked-out in this work.
