Object - the process of Ukrainian regions innovative potential development management; the goal - development of theoretical propositions, scientific-methodology and practices for managing the innovative potential development of the region in modern conditions; methods - systematic structural analysis, expert assessments, economic and statistical analysis, graphic, hierarchy analysis, econometric; novelty - the scientific approach to identify strategic priorities for innovation potential development of the region was worked out, the analytical approach planning the development of regional innovative potential and the conceptual basis of the implementation of the regional strategy for innovation potential have been improved; results - the scientific principles and practical recommendations of regions' innovative potential development management was developed; industry - productive forces and regional economy development.
