Gach N. Linguistic conceptualization of cultural continuum in American poetry of XIXth - XXIst century.

The thesis presents the results of linguo-cultural analysis of the conceptual worldview of American poetic discourse of XIXth - XXIst century verbalization. The achievements in the sphere of linguo-cultural studies serve as the theoretical-and-methodological grounds of the research conducted. Such theory gives a possibility to establish the principles of cultural continuum representation in poetry, and to find out transformations in the conceptual worldview from the point of view within the scope of its inherent special-temporal features. The paper outlines the main approaches to the study of poetic discourse from the point of view of the reflection of cultural continuum elements on the textual level.
